What is Deliver a Smile?
Deliver a Smile is a fresh twist on the former Gift Basket program. Twice a year, MS Society staff and volunteers will make a friendly visit to individuals living with MS and bring a "little something" with them.
During the month of December and July, the Gateway Area Chapter of the National MS Society will deliver personalized items that have been specifically requested by individuals living with MS.
Who Qualifies for the Deliver a Smile Program?
Deliver a Smile will serve individuals living with MS who are home-bound or living in long-term care facilities. These individuals are usually socially isolated and unable to go out without assistance. Most individuals are referred to the program by friends, neighbors and family members.
