What is a 'Make a Difference Day'
Make a Difference Day is an opportunity to serve people living with MS in the Gateway Area Chapter's 90 counties through cleaning, repairing and rehabbing homes. Volunteer spread throughout the area helping with projects that individuals with MS may not be able to do themselves, and provide families with a world free of MS for the day.
Our volunteers meet on the morning of the projects, pick up their team packets, supplies, and tools, and head out to make a difference in the area.
- Trimming hedges
- Moving mulch
- Lawn care
- Installing gutter guards
- General maintenance
- And a various amount of other projects
Our annual event occurs on the 4th Saturday in October, but projects are considered throughout the year as well.
Would you like your home to be considered for a project?
